What a fun class this was! We ate pizza until we couldn't eat any more. The no fail pizza crust was a favorite as was the homemade red sauce. What's not to like about pizza???

Phil's turkey recipes
The classes this week centered around knife skills and turkey. Phil Barkman, from the meat department at Walnut Creek Cheese showed us how to use our knives, store them and sharpen them. He also taught us how to carve a turkey and provided some recipes for left-over turkey. It was a great week and we hope to have Phil join us again in August.

Make ahead meals
We didn't get to have a class last Tuesday so we worked twice as hard on Friday on some make-ahead recipes.
Linda cut the recipe for 3 meat sauce in half and cooked it for 30 minutes in the pressure cooker and it was absolutely delicious.
Lydia and Becky whipped up the yummy peanut butter dessert and Nathaniel and Kim made ham and cheese sandwiches with a poppy seed spread. Nathaniel also made baked oatmeal. Yum!
Thanks for your hard work!
